Welcome to Watching Pasta Boil, a periodical update on Wendell's whereabouts and doings.
ENTRY 2
Good evening. I've been feeling very worked out lately. It's difficult to stay awake at night and harder even stay awake during the day without three coffees, but I've been doing well.
I'm currently working on:
- Urgent college work!
- [LANCER] General Massive Systems. Yes, I thought about giving GMS the representation it deserves! Since they only have three frames and none of them have official renders to work from, I've just decided to highlight their Systems instead! I've drawn 8/15 system-specific frames... and they look weird. Blockier than they should.
- Sketching. I've been drawing as usual, mostly for my college's D&D campaign, though, so I am a bit afraid of posting stuff that's too personal for people to enjoy, even out of context. Still, I've been drawing a lot and a Sketch Dump might surface by the end of the next week.
- The second edition of my performance, "Therapy Wendell".
I've been thinking about:
- Disco Elysium. I've been replaying the game and I've been comitting the exact same mistakes from last time, damnit!!! I am very enamored by this game's setting. I want to live in Martinaise and I want to drink cheap Frittte liquor. I'd also go crazy over a crime show set in this world, call it "RCM Jamrock" and have the game's plot be a three-episode-long season finale. It's a shame ZA/UM's owned by fascists now and nothing good will come out of it ever again...
- The One Piece TCG. I want to play it but I really don't want to buy any cards. I just want my main man Jinbe...
- The looming changes.
- Beetle Knight. A nice oldschool TTRPG that blatantly rips off the Hollow Knight TTRPG because that one arguably reeks more than Dung Defender's charm. I'm planning on running a one-shot of that for my D&D group when we finish our campaign.
Other news:
- I do not want to talk about the elections in Portugal. Nobody wants to. It was that bad. We were in such a condition that my dad chose to go to the ballots and vote for the first time in his life... and still...
There's so much more to talk about but...
... tummy ache... ooh... ahh...
... see ya soon!
